Transfield Services awarded contract with Woodside

Transfield Services has been awarded a $45 million contract to provide maintenance services at Woodside’s operated Western Australian offshore oil and gas production facilities.

Commencing in January 2013, the contract is for three years, with two one-year extension options.

“Transfield Services has worked alongside Woodside in the North West Shelf for over 17 years to improve asset performance,” said Joe Sofra, Transfield Services Chief Executive, Resources and Energy, Australia and New Zealand.

“We will continue to apply our industry leading asset management, maintenance and shutdown expertise to ensure optimal asset productivity.”

Transfield Services is a leading service provider in Australia’s oil and gas industry. In addition to Woodside, the Company has contracts with Santos, QGC, Origin Energy, ExxonMobil, Shell and Caltex.

Transfield Services has the capability to provide end-to-end service delivery, from engineering and design, to well drilling and maintenance and brownfield construction services.
