Transfield Services secures A$140 million in contracts


Transfield Services has secured A$140 million in contracts across its Australian operations, including:

A three-year A$45 million contract to provide maintenance services at Woodside’s operated Western Australian offshore oil and gas production facilities. Commencing in January 2013, the contract includes two one-year extension options - click here for more information.

An agreement with QGC to construct, install and complete a series of CSG well sites in central Queensland as part of the Queensland Curtis Liquefied Natural Gas (QCLNG) Project. The agreement is expected to be worth up to A$20 million, with work commencing in December 2012 and completing in June 2013. On completion of this phase of work and subject to a further agreement with QGC, Transfield Services has the potential to install additional well sites beyond June 2013.

A new three and half year contract worth approximately A$20 million with a national transport client to manage cleaning services and deliver the first stage of an improvement program. The contract includes a two and half year extension option. The team of 34 employees are managing more than 800 cleaning employees and the cleanliness of city and regional stations and carriages.

A five-year A$30 million contract with Gippsland Water. The contract includes capacity for additional revenue from discretionary capital works and performance based options for an additional five-years. The contract extends Transfield Services’ 17-year relationship with Gippsland Water.

A two-year A$25 million contract with Mackay Regional Council to design and construct the Sarina Waste Water Treatment Plant. The project will be delivered in joint venture with SKM.
