Broadspectrum renews contract with Austin Health
Broadspectrum has successfully renewed a three-year contract extension with Austin Health.
Since 2011, Broadspectrum has delivered maintenance services to Austin Health’s key facilities in Melbourne, including Austin Hospital, Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital, the Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre, the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre and seven satellite sites.
The three-year contract extension follows Broadspectrum reducing Lost Time Injuries to zero and delivering 100 per cent on its Key Performance Indicators while increasing the services it provides to Austin Health over the past 12 months.
Chief Executive, Defence and Social Infrastructure, Derek Osborn said: “This reflects the dedication of our team to deliver improved project management, energy and property management services for healthcare facilities in the communities where we work.”
As part of Ferrovial Services, we have been providing services to the healthcare for more than 20 years, working at more than 200 medical centres in Australia, Spain, Portugal and the United Kingdom. For the past five years, Broadspectrum’s project management subsidiary, APP, has managed 10 major health projects across New South Wales valued at more than $300 million. This includes project management and health planning for the redevelopment and expansion of hospital facilities in Hornsby, Port Macquarie, Inverell, Armidale and Maitland.
